Karl was a 1957graduate of Annville-Cleona High School in Pennsylvania. Karl and Sandi made their way to Sunfield, Michigan in 1963 and he began his die sinking apprenticeship program through Lansing Community College. After selling the trucking company and leaving Meijer, he still worked seasonally for Merryfield Farms driving trucks, which he loved. Both Karl and Sandi were 4-H leaders for over a decade and spent many summers leading 4-H kids at the Ionia Free Fair. Karl was also a top three Calf-roper in the State of Michigan. Horses remained a huge part of their lives and they were never very far from 4-H kids who’s lives they had influenced or horse friends that were forged while traveling all over the United States attending horse shows. Karl was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jay Ginder and his wife of almost 46 years, Sandra Kay Ginder. Surviving is his son, Troy Kenneth Ginder and daughter, Grace Trachelle Ginder; dear grandchildren, Dustin (Angela) Ginder, Jason (Joy) Ginder, Heather (Andres) Mino, Tyler (Kara) Smith and Trachelle Smith.
